Tamga

Tamga — MES for meat plants. Batch cost on the day it's produced

Tamga follows every batch from the livestock truck to the carton and connects to your accounting system. Yield per head, losses by station and shift output are visible the same day.

We'll show the system on a test database: one hour, for you and your production manager.

What you'll see

Six answers, every day

Yield

How much meat did each head give?

Weights come straight from the scales at each station; yield by grade is calculated automatically.

Cost

What does a kilo of product cost?

Raw-material cost instantly from the batch recipe. Labor and overhead planned in advance and trued up at close.

Losses

Where are we losing yield?

Deviations show up the moment they happen. A red flag closes only with a stated reason.

Traceability

What raw material went into this carton?

One code from truck to carton: supplier, veterinary documents, recipe ingredients. Blending batches creates a new batch that keeps every link.

Output

Who produced how much this shift?

Piece-rate pay from scale and handheld data, with no handwritten sheets.

Planning

Is there enough raw material for this week's orders?

A loading schedule for each line and raw-material needs calculated from recipes.

How it works

One batch code from truck to carton

Platform

Connects to your accounting and works on the shop floor

Accounting integration

Master data, documents and costs go into your accounting system with no double entry.

Handhelds and panels

Android terminals and line-side panels; scales and label printers.

Web module and displays

Planning, dashboards and a live shift monitor in the browser.

Shop-floor screens

Readable from a meter away, 14 pt minimum, the same on PC and handheld.

Equipment

We'll choose the right equipment for your plant

We don't sell hardware. We pick what works reliably in a wet meat plant, check compatibility and connect it to the system. You buy directly from the manufacturer or dealer.

Networked scales

Floor platforms at each station and overhead rail scales for carcasses, IP65–IP68 rated. Protocols: POS2-M (Mertech), CAS-M (CAS), Massa-K.

Handhelds with NFC

Urovo DT40 terminals with an NFC reader: workers sign in with a card, and weights and operations go straight into the system.

Employee cards

13.56 MHz NFC cards and key fobs (MIFARE Classic 1K, NTAG21x). 125 kHz badges won't work; we'll suggest a replacement.

Rugged computers

Industrial PCs for shop-floor workstations that handle moisture, washdowns and temperature swings.

Equipment selection is part of the site survey: we check which scales you already have and tell you what can stay.

Rollout

First results in a month, the full system in six

1Traceability and slaughter · 19 d

2Shop-floor tracking and deviations · 20 d

3Recipes, packaging, labeling, cold chain · 17 d

4Planning and line loading · 30 d

5Costing, output, go-live · 9 d

126 working days on the current project, 21 of them for setting up scales, handhelds and printers. Timelines for your plant are set during the site survey.

Each stage stands alone

Every stage works on its own and is paid for separately.

Accepted on a live shift

We test on real operations with your own people.

Two weeks on site at go-live

The architect is at the plant when the system goes into production.

Questions

What people usually ask

We already have an accounting system. Will we need to replace it?

No. Tamga connects to it: integration with 1C is built in, and other accounting systems connect too. Accounting stays as it is, and the shop floor shows up in it the same day for the first time.

Will workers manage the handhelds?

Screens are designed for the shop floor: large type, few fields. For stage one of the current project we produced 8 videos and 9 booklets, and we accept work on a live shift.

Can we start with one station?

Yes. Every stage works on its own and is paid for separately. We usually start where losses are biggest.

Where is our data stored?

On your own server. The license works even without internet.

Do we need to buy new equipment?

Not all of it. During the site survey we check your scales and handhelds. We'll pick whatever is missing; you buy it directly from the manufacturer or dealer, and we connect it to the system.

How much does it cost?

Implementation is a fixed price per stage; the subscription depends on production volume. We give an exact figure after the survey rather than guessing.
